Soil Service Garden Center

Soil Service is such a gem! I stopped by one day for a relaxing stroll around the beautiful grounds and now it’s my go-to for both garden goods and a dose of joy. Soil Service has an incredible selection, great prices, and a generous rewards program. Both the nursery and garden center feature spacious layouts, beautiful landscaping, and creative displays. I particularly love their extensive selection of native perennials, the porch geese and accessories, and Fancy the shop cat (aka the boss!). The whole staff is friendly, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They’re eager to swap stories, share photos, and answer questions (and offer a punny joke!). They’re helpful and approachable, and so enthusiastic. I always leave feeling inspired, cheerful, and cared for. Genuine care and personal connections build community, and the Soil Service team excels at both. Highly recommend! (The photos show my garden; thanks to the Soil Service team for their guidance!)

Staff always ready to help and knowledgeable. Excellent selection of plants, planters and hanging plants. Reasonable prices.

As a local landscaper, this is the best place for quality, pricing, selection, and the absolute FRIENDLIEST and best community of people working. I love my planting days because of these guys. Kirk helped me out with some coco liners that are unavailable everywhere else. He pranked me by guessing my name and that interaction made my day. You can talk to any of the staff there and they are all so refreshingly kind. Cannot recommend this place and their nursery next door enough!!

Jack went out of his way to help us. We were there late in the afternoon on a Sunday and everybody was very nice.

The staff here is phenomenal! Went in “just to look” and came out with so much stuff for my garden. If you have a question about plants or soil, these folks are THE BEST. They don’t make you feel bad for being a beginner- they want you to learn, what a great feeling. The outside is so inviting and there’s two sides of the street to visit for plants and flowers. The highlight for me was their commitment to variety and ALL the herbs looked well maintained and fresh - that is so hard to do! I will be back for more soil in the early summer - can’t wait to come back and visit!
